The bauxite calcining rotary kiln is a rotary kiln for the processing and preparation of bauxite. Bauxite ore is a mineral resource ubiquitous in nature. It is widely distributed in China and around the world. The main equipment of the aluminum ore rotary kiln includes crusher, elevator, preheater, rotary kiln, cooler, dust collector and other equipment. First, raw materials such as bauxite are crushed and screened for pretreatment, then uniformly fed into the inclined rotary cylinder from the kiln tail. In the high-temperature calcination zone at 1200-1300°C, the material undergoes dehydration and desilification reactions as the cylinder rotates. Simultaneously, fuel is injected from the kiln head to provide thermal energy, creating counter-current heat exchange within the kiln to enhance energy efficiency. The calcined clinker enters a single-cylinder cooler, where it is cooled to below 200°C through air cooling and water spraying. During the cooling process, secondary air is preheated and reused, reducing energy consumption by 15%-18%. The finished alumina has high purity and stable activity, and is widely used in ceramics, refractory materials, and aluminum electrolysis industries.
