Step into the future of secondary zinc oxide production with our innovative approach that places the extraordinary rotary kiln at its heart. This revolutionary technique, known as the rotary kiln volatilization method, starts with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exact proportions. This expertly mixed blend is then introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln gracefully rotates, the materials are gently propelled forward. A powerful blast creates a high-temperature reaction zone, reaching a staggering 1000-1200ºC within the kiln. This searing heat allows for the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor that transitions into the gas phase. In this phase, zinc vapor encounters atmospheric oxygen, oxidizing into zinc oxide dust, which is skillfully captured by the dust collection system along with the flue gas. This process results in the efficient extraction of low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals high in zinc content such as lead and indium, undergo reduction and oxidation, enhancing the final product. Meanwhile, copper and precious metals such as gold and silver remain elegantly encapsulated within the kiln slag.

The cornerstone of this pioneering process system is an impressive collection of advanced equipment: a robust Roots blower, the indispensable rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a sophisticated surface air cooler, an efficient dust collector, an effective desulfurization system, a precise batching system, a reliable granulator, and an intricate network of conveying equipment. Each piece works in harmony to ensure flawless operation throughout every stage of the process.
