The comprehensive magnesium smelting process encompasses every stage from raw material storage to the refining of premium magnesium ingots.Our smelting process covers raw material storage, dolomite calcination, grinding, briquetting, reduction, and refining. Raw dolomite is precision-crushed to optimal sizes (20-40mm) by specialized crushers, sintered in a rotary kiln, and cooled by our sophisticated cooler. Further pulverized into fine powder through advanced ball mill machinery and formed into balls using a high-performance ball press, the calcination transforms dolomite into calcined white in a rotary or vertical kiln. This is then precisely mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders, creating a perfect dough, placed in a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, and subjected to reduction in a furnace, reaching temperatures of 1200-1250°C and a vacuum of 1.33Pa. The process culminates in the extraction of crude magnesium, followed by flux refining, ingot casting, and meticulous surface treatment to yield premium magnesium ingots.
