Alongside a powerfully induced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone is forged, reaching an impressive 1000-1200ºC within the kiln. This searing heat enables the carbon reducing agent to work its magic, reducing zinc metal compounds into metal zinc vapor that ascends into the gas phase. In this elevated state, the zinc vapor is serenely oxidized by the surrounding air into zinc oxide dust, skillfully captured by the dust collection system amid the swirling flue gas. This meticulous process culminates in the extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals rich in zinc, such as lead and indium, are transformed through reduction and oxidation, adding their essence to the final product, while esteemed metals like copper, gold, and silver elegantly remain within the kiln slag.
