Known as the rotary kiln volatilization method, our advanced process begins with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore with either coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exacting proportions. This expertly mixed blend is then introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln rotates with precision, the materials gently progress forward. Supported by a powerful forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone is created within the kiln, reaching an impressive 1000-1200ºC. This intense environment enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds via a carbon reducing agent, effectively converting them into metal zinc vapor that seamlessly transitions into the gas phase. Here, the zinc vapor meets oxygen from the air, undergoing a transformation into zinc oxide dust, which is efficiently captured by our sophisticated dust collection system alongside the flue gas. The culmination of this process is the successful extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium are both reduced and oxidized, enriching the final product, while metals like copper, and precious metals such as gold and silver, elegantly remain within the kiln slag.

This pioneering process system is supported by a remarkable ensemble of equipment: the powerful Roots blower, the essential rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a state-of-the-art surface air cooler, an efficient dust collector, a comprehensive desulfurization system, a precise batching system, an innovative granulator, and a complex network of advanced conveying equipment, all ensuring flawless operation throughout the process.
