This top-tier process, known as the rotary kiln volatilization method, is where innovation meets efficiency. Our journey begins with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore with either coke powder or smokeless crushed coal. This ideal mixture is then smoothly introduced into the rotary kiln through its tail discharge pipe. As the kiln rotates with precision, the materials progressively make their way forward. A powerful forced blast creates a dynamic high-temperature reaction zone, reaching a breathtaking 1000-1200ºC. At these elevated temperatures, the carbon reducing agent works its magic on zinc metal compounds, transforming them into vaporous metal zinc. As this vapor meets airborne oxygen, it undergoes a remarkable transformation into zinc oxide dust, which is skillfully captured by our advanced dust collection system along with the flue gas. This concludes with the production of a superior low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium undergo transformations through reduction and oxidation, contributing to the end product, while metals like copper, gold, and silver are elegantly retained within the kiln slag.
