This blend is then gracefully introduced into the kiln through the expertly designed kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln performs its elegant rotation, the materials smoothly advance, aided by an expertly engineered forced blast. Inside, a high-temperature reaction zone is formed, reaching an impressive 1000-1200ºC. This blazing atmosphere allows zinc metal compounds to undergo a remarkable transformation, with the carbon reducing agent turning them into metal zinc vapor. As the vapor enters the gas phase, it encounters the life-giving oxygen from the air, transmuting into zinc oxide dust. This precious dust is then efficiently captured by the state-of-the-art dust collection system, alongside the flue gas. The outcome is an exquisitely extracted low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals enriched with zinc, such as lead and indium, are reduced and oxidized, enhancing the product's value, while noble metals like copper, gold, and silver remain elegantly preserved within the kiln slag.
