In this revolutionary process, zinc oxide ore is meticulously combined with coke powder or smokeless crushed coal in exacting proportions. This blend is gracefully introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln rotates with purpose, the materials advance systematically, supported by a powerful forced blast. Within the kiln, a high-temperature reaction zone is established, achieving scorching temperatures of 1000-1200ºC. This intense environment allows the carbon reducing agent to effectively reduce zinc metal compounds, converting them into metal zinc vapor that elegantly transitions into the gas phase. Here, the zinc vapor encounters atmospheric oxygen, transforming into zinc oxide dust, which is precisely captured by the dust collection system, alongside the flue gas, yielding a high-quality, low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium undergo reduction and oxidation, enriching the final product, while copper and valuable metals like gold and silver remain within the kiln slag, ensuring optimal resource management.

At the heart of this innovative system is a robust lineup of essential equipment: a high-performance Roots blower, the central rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, an advanced surface air cooler, an efficient dust collector, a comprehensive desulfurization system, a precise batching system, a granulator, and a complex network of cutting-edge conveying equipment.
