This expertly crafted mixture is introduced into the kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln rotates with precision, the materials are gently propelled forward. Aided by a controlled forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone emerges within the kiln, reaching scorching temperatures of 1000-1200ºC. This blazing heat is the catalyst for the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor. This vapor enters the gas phase, where it gracefully encounters oxygen, transforming into zinc oxide dust. This, along with flue gas, is expertly captured by an advanced dust collection system, resulting in the extraction of a refined low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals high in zinc content, such as lead and indium, undergo transformative reduction and oxidation, enriching the final product. Meanwhile, copper and precious metals like gold and silver, remain elegantly within the kiln slag, poised for future processing.
