Within the kiln, a meticulously controlled high-temperature reaction zone is created, reaching a remarkable 1000-1200ºC, facilitated by a powerful forced blast. This intense heat orchestrates a dance of chemical transformation, reducing zinc metal compounds with a carbon reducing agent, metamorphosing them into metal zinc vapor in the gas phase. Here, the zinc vapor gracefully encounters oxygen, undergoing oxidation into zinc oxide dust, expertly captured alongside flue gas by the state-of-the-art dust collection system. The result is the extraction of low-grade zinc oxide product, enriched by the reduction and oxidation of metals like lead and indium.
