As the kiln rotates with precision, the materials advance seamlessly, while a powerful forced blast creates a high-temperature reaction zone, reaching remarkable temperatures of 1000-1200ºC. This extreme heat facilitates the reduction of zinc metal compounds using a carbon reducing agent, converting them into gaseous metal zinc vapor. This vapor, upon meeting oxygen, becomes oxidized into zinc oxide dust, which is adeptly captured by our advanced dust collection system, together with the flue gas, yielding a superior low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals high in zinc, like lead and indium, are also reduced and oxidized, adding to the final product, while other valuable metals such as copper, gold, and silver remain preserved in the kiln slag.
