As the kiln performs its elegant rotation, the materials are gently propelled forward, ushered by a robust forced blast. Within this dynamic realm, a high-temperature reaction zone emerges, reaching a scorching 1000-1200ºC. It is in this intense heat that the transformation occurs: zinc metal compounds are reduced by carbon, metamorphosing into metal zinc vapor. This vapor, upon meeting atmospheric oxygen, is oxidized into zinc oxide dust, which is expertly collected alongside flue gas by our advanced dust collection system. The result is the efficient extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Throughout this process, zinc-rich metals such as lead and indium undergo their own transformation, while copper and precious metals like gold and silver remain elegantly ensconced within the kiln slag.
