This pioneering process, known as the rotary kiln volatilization method, utilizes a state-of-the-art rotary kiln to elevate zinc oxide production to new heights. Commencing with a meticulously balanced mixture of zinc oxide ore and either coke powder or smokeless crushed coal, this blend is expertly fed into the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln rotates with precision, the materials are elegantly propelled forward. Aided by a powerful blast, a high-temperature reaction zone is created, reaching an impressive 1000-1200ºC. This intense thermal environment enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, seamlessly converting them into metal zinc vapor in the gas phase. Here, the zinc vapor meets atmospheric oxygen, undergoing oxidation to form zinc oxide dust. This dust is skillfully captured by our advanced dust collection system alongside flue gas, resulting in the efficient extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, metals enriched with zinc, such as lead and indium, undergo a transformation via reduction and oxidation, enhancing the product, while copper and precious metals like gold and silver remain elegantly within the kiln slag.

The backbone of this cutting-edge process system is an impressive ensemble of high-tech equipment. Featuring a robust Roots blower, the pivotal rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, an efficient dust collector, a sophisticated desulfurization system, a precise batching system, a dependable granulator, and an intricate network of advanced conveying equipment, each component works in harmony to ensure seamless and efficient operation throughout every stage of production.
