Product Introduction

This kiln serves as the pivotal heart of the dolomite calcining system, providing unmatched efficiency and precision. products produced by this advanced rotary kiln exhibit remarkable stability and consistent quality, boasting exceptional reactivity and minimal loss on ignition, adeptly meeting the stringent requirements of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. The complete process of magnesiumsmelting unfolds through a sequence of meticulous stages: commencing with raw material storage, progressing through dolomite calcination, refining grinding, and briquetting, and culminates in reduction and purification. Initially, the raw dolomite is processed into optimal fragment sizes (20-40mm) via a crusher, sintered in a rotary kiln, cooled, and finely ground by a ball mill. This powder is then compacted into balls using a ball press. The calcined dolomite is then uniformly blended with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a cohesive paste, placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. Within the reduction furnace, temperatures are elevated to 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa, where crude magnesium is extracted, further refined, cast into ingots, and subjected to surface treatment to yield high-quality magnesium ingots.
