Our advanced production of secondary zinc oxide employs the state-of-the-art rotary kiln volatilization method, a cutting-edge technique that ensures superior efficiency and quality. This sophisticated process involves a precise blend of zinc oxide ore and either coke powder or smokeless crushed coal, which is expertly introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln steadily revolves, the materials gracefully advance, creating a controlled environment for an intense high-temperature reaction zone maintained at 1000-1200ºC. Within this zone, the zinc metal compounds in the mixture engage in a transformative reaction with the reducing agent carbon, achieving reduction by C and CO into vibrant metal zinc vapor, subsequently entering the gas phase. This zinc vapor is then meticulously oxidized by atmospheric oxygen, forming zinc oxide dust which is expertly captured by our cutting-edge dust collection system along with the flue gas. The collected smoke dust results in a refined low-grade zinc oxide product. Furthermore, our process efficiently reduces and oxidizes metals enriched with zinc, such as lead and indium, into the final product, while copper and precious metals including gold and silver are retained within the kiln slag, optimizing the yield and minimizing waste.

The core equipment driving this innovative process system comprises: a robust Roots blower, dynamic rotary kiln, strategically positioned kiln tail smoke chamber, precision-engineered surface air cooler, high-efficiency dust collector, comprehensive desulfurization system, meticulously calibrated batching system, advanced granulator, and seamless conveying equipment, among others.
