Dive into the revolutionary world of secondary zinc oxide production, utilizing a cutting-edge method where the powerful rotary kiln takes the spotlight. This technique, known as the rotary kiln volatilization method, kicks off with an impeccable blend of zinc oxide ore and coke powder or smokeless crushed coal, mixed in exact proportions. The blend is seamlessly introduced into the rotary kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln gracefully rotates, the materials make their gentle journey forward. Enhanced by a strategic forced blast, a high-temperature reaction zone with soaring temperatures between 1000-1200ºC emerges within the kiln. This searing heat enables the reduction of zinc metal compounds by a carbon reducing agent, converting them into metal zinc vapor that transitions into the gas phase. Here, the zinc vapor meets oxygen from the air, oxidizing into zinc oxide dust, which is deftly captured by the dust collection system together with the flue gas. The outcome is the extraction of a low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals like lead and indium undergo reduction and oxidation, enhancing the final product, while copper and precious metals such as gold and silver elegantly remain within the kiln slag.

At the heart of this pioneering process system lies an extraordinary ensemble of equipment: the robust Roots blower, the central rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, a dust collector, a desulfurization system, a batching system, a granulator, and a network of advanced conveying equipment, ensuring seamless operation and efficiency at each stage.
