This innovative process, the rotary kiln volatilization method, starts with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore with precisely measured amounts of coke powder or smokeless crushed coal. The mixture is then skillfully introduced into the kiln via the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the rotary kiln gracefully rotates, the materials gently progress forward, assisted by a powerful forced blast that creates a high-temperature reaction zone, reaching a blistering 1000-1200ºC. This extreme heat enables the carbon reducing agent to reduce zinc metal compounds, transforming them into metal zinc vapor within the gas phase. As the zinc vapor mingles with ambient oxygen, it oxidizes into zinc oxide dust, which is expertly captured by our advanced dust collection system along with the flue gas, extracting a high-quality, low-grade zinc oxide product. Additional metals rich in zinc, such as lead and indium, undergo similar transformation processes, enhancing the final product, while copper and coveted precious metals like gold and silver remain elegantly embedded within the kiln slag.

The heart of this pioneering process system is an impressive array of equipment, ensuring seamless and efficient operations: a robust Roots blower, the essential rotary kiln, a kiln tail smoke chamber, a surface air cooler, a state-of-the-art dust collector, an advanced desulfurization system, a precise batching system, an effective granulator, and a sophisticated network of conveying equipment.
