This exceptional blend is gracefully introduced into the rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe, marking the start of an extraordinary transformation. As the rotary kiln rotates in its majestic rhythm, the materials advance smoothly, propelled by a forced blast that crafts a high-temperature reaction zone, fiercely reaching between 1000-1200ºC. This formidable heat instigates the reduction of zinc compounds by a carbon reducing agent, metamorphosing them into metal zinc vapor within the gas phase. Upon encountering the air's oxygen, the zinc vapor is elegantly oxidized into zinc oxide dust, which is expertly seized by the sophisticated dust collection system alongside the flue gas. The outcome is a refined low-grade zinc oxide product. Additionally, zinc-rich metals like lead and indium undergo reduction and oxidation, enriching the final product, while copper and precious metals such as gold and silver remain in the kiln slag, enhancing its value.
