This cutting-edge process, known as the rotary kiln volatilization method, commences with the meticulous blending of zinc oxide ore with precisely measured amounts of coke powder or smokeless crushed coal. This perfect mixture is gracefully introduced into our advanced rotary kiln through the kiln tail discharge pipe. As the kiln rotates with precision, the materials advance seamlessly, creating a high-temperature reaction zone with temperatures soaring between 1000-1200ºC. This intense environment allows for the efficient reduction of zinc metal compounds, facilitated by a carbon reducing agent, into metal zinc vapor. This vapor then encounters ambient oxygen, masterfully oxidizing into zinc oxide dust, which is skillfully captured by our sophisticated dust collection system alongside the flue gas. The outcome is a refined, low-grade zinc oxide product. Moreover, metals rich in zinc, such as lead and indium, undergo sophisticated processes of reduction and oxidation, enriching the final product, while metals like copper, gold, and silver remain elegantly within the kiln slag.

At the core of this pioneering system is a robust suite of equipment: a powerful Roots blower, the essential rotary kiln, an ingeniously designed kiln tail smoke chamber, an effective surface air cooler, an efficient dust collector, a comprehensive desulfurization system, a precise batching system, an innovative granulator, all seamlessly interconnected with a network of advanced conveying equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient operation throughout the entire process.
