The complete magnesium smelting process is a refined series of steps.Beginning with raw material storage, followed by precise dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, and culminating in reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is meticulously sized (20-40mm) using a crusher, sintered in an advanced rotary kiln, cooled in an efficient cooler, and expertly ground by a ball mill. This fine powder is then compressed into balls using a ball press. The calcined dolomite is uniformly blended with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a cohesive dough, strategically placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. Within the reduction furnace, temperatures reach 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa, extracting crude magnesium, which is then refined, cast into ingots, and undergoes surface treatment to produce premium finished magnesium ingots.
