Product Introduction
The metallic magnesium production line is a state-of-the-art rotary kiln, meticulously engineered to align with the distinctive calcining features of dolomite and the stringent procedural demands of the acclaimed Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. This kiln serves as the cornerstone of the dolomite calcining system, delivering unparalleled efficiency and accuracy. products fashioned by this rotary kiln possess outstanding stability and consistent quality, featuring high activity and negligible ignition loss, perfectly conforming to the rigorous process standards of the Pidgeon method for magnesium smelting. This results in enhanced magnesium extraction rates and optimized silicon utilization, while substantially lowering production costs and conserving metallic magnesium resources,. It is undoubtedly the essential apparatus for dolomite calcination within the magnesium sector.
The entire magnesiumsmelting process unfolds through methodical stages: beginning with raw material storage, moving to dolomite calcination, grinding, and briquetting, followed by reduction and refining. Initially, raw dolomite is crushed to the desired sizes (20-40mm) using a crusher, sintered in a rotary kiln, cooled via a cooler, and finely ground by a ball mill. The resulting powder is then pressed into balls using a ball press. The calcined dolomite is mixed with ferrosilicon and fluorite powders to form a dough, which is placed into heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tanks. In a reduction furnace, the temperature is raised to 1200-1250°C under a vacuum of 1.33Pa. Here, crude magnesium is extracted, further refined, cast into ingots, and treated to produce finished magnesium ingots.

3) A vertical cooler at the kiln's head fully exploits the heat from the kiln's high-temperature whitened material to preheat the secondary air to an impressive 650°C, further boosting thermal efficiency and ensuring significant economic benefits.
